रुद्राक्ष वसवश्चैव मरुतशक्ष महाबला:
vaiśampāyana uvāca | rudrākṣa vasavaś caiva marutaś ca mahābalāḥ | kṛṣṇapārtho jighāṃsantaḥ pratīyur vividhāyudhāḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—রুদ্রগণ, বসুগণ এবং মহাবলী মরুদ্গণ নানাবিধ অস্ত্র ধারণ করে, কৃষ্ণ ও পার্থ (অর্জুন)কে বধ করার অভিপ্রায়ে তাদের দিকে অগ্রসর হলেন।
