तत्र गत्वा महात्मानौ कृष्णौ परपुरंजयौ । महाहासनयो राजंस्ततस्तौ संनिषीदतु:
tatra gatvā mahātmānau kṛṣṇau parapuraṃjayau | mahāhāsanayo rājan tatas tau saṃniṣīdataḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন— হে রাজন! সেখানে গিয়ে শত্রুপুর-বিজয়ী সেই দুই মহাত্মা কৃষ্ণ ও অর্জুন দুইটি মূল্যবান সিংহাসনে উপবিষ্ট হলেন। তারপর পূর্বকৃত বীর্যকর্ম স্মরণ করে এবং আরও নানা প্রসঙ্গে কথা বলে তাঁরা পরস্পর আনন্দে সময় কাটালেন।
