स हि सर्वस्य लोकस्य हितमात्मन एव च | चिकीर्षन् सुमहातेजा रेमे भरतसत्तम,भरतश्रेष्ठ! महातेजस्वी राजा युधिष्ठिर सब लोगोंका और अपना भी हित करनेकी चेष्टामें लगे रहकर सदा प्रसन्नतापूर्वक समय बिताते थे
sa hi sarvasya lokasya hitam ātmana eva ca | cikīrṣan sumahātejā reme bharatasattama ||
হে ভরতশ্রেষ্ঠ! মহাতেজস্বী রাজা যুধিষ্ঠির সমগ্র লোকের এবং নিজেরও মঙ্গল সাধনে সদা উদ্যত থেকে সন্তোষের সঙ্গে কাল যাপন করতেন। তাঁর আনন্দ ছিল ধর্মসম্মত কল্যাণকর্মে, কেবল ভোগে নয়।
