खाण्डवदाहे देवविमुखता तथा मयदानवाभयदानम् | Khāṇḍava Burning: Devas Withdraw; Maya Granted Protection
एष तावदभिप्रायमाख्यातु स्वं महामति: । यदस्य रुचिरं कर्तु तत् कुरुध्वमतन्द्रिता:,“पहले परम बुद्धिमान् श्रीकृष्ण अपना अभिप्राय बतावें। तदनन्तर जो कर्तव्य इन्हें उचित जान पड़े, उसीका आलस्य छोड़कर पालन करो”
eṣa tāvad abhiprāyam ākhyātu svaṃ mahāmatiḥ | yad asya ruciraṃ kartu tat kurudhvam atandritāḥ ||
প্রথমে মহামতি শ্রীকৃষ্ণ নিজের অভিপ্রায় প্রকাশ করুন। তারপর তাঁর কাছে যা যথোচিত ও প্রিয় কর্ম বলে মনে হবে, তোমরা আলস্য ত্যাগ করে তা সম্পন্ন করো।
