मुष्टिभिर्जानुभिश्वैव निघ्नन्तावितरेतरम् । प्रकर्षणाकर्षणयोरभ्याकर्षविकर्षणै:
muṣṭibhir jānubhiś caiva nighnantāv itaretaram | prakarṣaṇākarṣaṇayor abhyākarṣa-vikarṣaṇaiḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—তারা দু’জনেই ঘুষি ও হাঁটু দিয়ে একে অপরকে আঘাত করতে লাগল। টানাটানি ও ঠেলাঠেলিতে কখনও কাছে টেনে আনত, কখনও দূরে ঠেলে দিত; উদ্দেশ্য একটাই—প্রতিপক্ষের ভারসাম্য নষ্ট করে তাকে মাটিতে ফেলে দেওয়া।
