सा गौस्तत्‌ सकल सैन्यं कालयामास दूरत: । विश्वामित्रस्य तत्‌ सैन्यं काल्यमानं त्रियोजनम्‌

Transliteration

sā gaus tat sakala-sainyaṃ kālayāmāsa dūrataḥ | viśvāmitrasya tat sainyaṃ kālyamānaṃ triyojanam ||

Translation

সেই গাভী দূর থেকেই সমগ্র সেনাকে তাড়িয়ে ধ্বংসের পথে ঠেলে দিল। এভাবে বিশ্বামিত্রের সেই বাহিনী—তিন যোজন বিস্তৃত—পরাভবের দিকে চালিত হচ্ছিল।
