देवगन्धर्ववाहास्ते दिव्यवर्णा मनोजवा: । क्षीणाक्षीणा भवन्त्येते न हीयन्ते च रंहस:,वे घोड़े देवताओं और गन्धर्वोंके वाहन हैं। उनके शरीरकी कान्ति दिव्य है। वे मनके समान वेगशाली और आवश्यकताके अनुसार दुबले-मोटे होते हैं; किंतु उनका वेग कभी कम नहीं होता
devagandharvavāhās te divyavarṇā manojavāḥ | kṣīṇākṣīṇā bhavanty ete na hīyante ca raṁhasaḥ ||
গন্ধর্ব বলল—এই অশ্বরা দেবতা ও গন্ধর্বদের বাহন। এদের বর্ণকান্তি দিব্য, আর গতি মনসম। প্রয়োজনে এরা ক্ষীণ বা পুষ্ট হয়, কিন্তু এদের দ্রুততা কখনও হ্রাস পায় না।
