ब्राह्मण उवाच उपपन्नं सतामेतद् यद् ब्रवीषि तपोधने । न तु दुःखमिदं शक्यं मानुषेण व्यपोहितुम्,ब्राह्मणने कहा--तपोधने! आप जो कुछ कह रही हैं, वह आप-जैसे सज्जनोंके अनुरूप ही है; परंतु हमारे इस दुःखको मनुष्य नहीं मिटा सकता
brāhmaṇa uvāca | upapannaṃ satām etad yad bravīṣi tapodhane | na tu duḥkham idaṃ śakyaṃ mānuṣeṇa vyapohitum |
ব্রাহ্মণ বললেন—তপোধনে! তুমি যা বলছ, তা সত্যই সজ্জনদের উপযুক্ত; কিন্তু আমাদের এই দুঃখ কোনো মানুষের প্রচেষ্টায় দূর করা যায় না।
