प्राणाधिकं भीमसेनं कृतविद्यं धनंजयम् । धार्तराष्ट्रा दुरात्मानो नामृष्यन्त परस्परम्
prāṇādhikaṃ bhīmasenaṃ kṛtavidyaṃ dhanaṃjayam | dhārtarāṣṭrā durātmāno nāmṛṣyanta parasparam ||
ভীমসেনকে প্রাণবলেই অধিকতর এবং ধনঞ্জয় (অর্জুন)কে অস্ত্রবিদ্যায় সিদ্ধ দেখে ধৃতরাষ্ট্রের দুরাত্মা পুত্রেরা তা সহ্য করতে পারল না; তাদের অন্তরে ঈর্ষা ও বিদ্বেষ জ্বলে উঠল।
