न सीदेतामदुःखाहें मा गमो भरतर्षभ । “इस मार्गपर केवल वायु चल सकती है तथा सिद्ध महर्षि भी जा सकते हैं। इस पर्वतराजपर चलती हुई ये दोनों राजकुमारियाँ कैसे कष्ट न पायेंगी? भरतवंशशिरोमणे! ये दोनों रानियाँ दुःख सहन करनेके योग्य नहीं हैं; अतः आप न चलिये'

Transliteration

na sīdetām aduḥkhāhe mā gamo bharatarṣabha

Translation

এই দুইজন, যারা দুঃখে অভ্যস্ত নয়, যেন কষ্ট না পায়; হে ভরতশ্রেষ্ঠ, আপনি অগ্রসর হবেন না। এই পথে কেবল বায়ুই চলতে পারে, আর সিদ্ধ মহর্ষিরাও যেতে পারেন; এই পর্বতরাজের উপর দিয়ে চলতে গিয়ে এই দুই রাজকন্যা কীভাবে কষ্ট না পাবে? হে ভরতবংশের শিরোমণি, এই দুই রানি এমন যন্ত্রণা সহ্য করার যোগ্য নন; অতএব আপনি এগোবেন না।
