Pāṇḍu’s Funeral Rites and Public Mourning
पौरवाणां महाराज तेषामक्लिष्टकर्मणाम् | वंशे जातस्य कौरव्य नानुरूपमिदं तव,महाराज! क्लेशरहित कर्म करनेवाले कुरुवंशियोंके कुलमें जन्म लेकर तुमने जो यह कार्य किया है, यह तुम्हारे अनुरूप नहीं है
pauravāṇāṃ mahārāja teṣām akliṣṭakarmaṇām | vaṃśe jātasya kauravya nānurūpam idaṃ tava, mahārāja ||
মহারাজ! পৌরবদের—যাঁদের কর্ম ক্লেশহীন ও নিষ্ঠুরতাহীন—সেই বংশে জন্মে, হে কৌরব্য, তুমি যে কাজ করেছ, তা তোমার উপযুক্ত নয়।
