अयाचन्त च मां राजन् वरं तच्च मया कृतम् । जाताउ्जातानू प्रक्षिपास्मान् स्वयं गड़े त्वमम्भसि
ayācanta ca māṃ rājan varaṃ tacca mayā kṛtam | jātaujātānū prakṣipāsmān svayaṃ gaṅge tvam ambhasi rājan |
হে রাজন! তখন তারা আমার কাছে বর প্রার্থনা করল, আর আমি তা প্রদান করলাম। তাদের প্রার্থনা ছিল—“হে গঙ্গা! আমরা যখনই বারবার জন্ম নেব, তুমি নিজেই আমাদের তোমার জলে নিক্ষেপ করবে।”
