च्रेअतिओन् ओफ़् अ लिङ्ग कृत्वा कनीयसं लिङ्गं स्नाप्य चन्दनवारिणा चैत्रमासादि विप्रेन्द्राः शिवलिङ्गव्रतं चरेत्

Transliteration

creation of a liṅga kṛtvā kanīyasaṃ liṅgaṃ snāpya candanavāriṇā caitramāsādi viprendrāḥ śivaliṅgavrataṃ caret

Translation

হে বিপ্রেন্দ্রগণ, একটি ক্ষুদ্র লিঙ্গ নির্মাণ করে চন্দনমিশ্রিত জলে তা স্নান করিয়ে, চৈত্র মাস থেকে আরম্ভ করে শিবলিঙ্গ-ব্রত পালন করা উচিত—এই নিয়মাচারে পশু পতি শিবের সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত হয়।
