Transliteration

catuḥṣaṣṭyātmatattvāya punaraṣṭavidhāya te guṇāṣṭakavṛtāyaiva guṇine nirguṇāya te

Translation

চৌষট্টি আত্ম-তত্ত্বরূপ পরমাত্মাকে প্রণাম; আবার অষ্টবিধ রূপে প্রকাশিত আপনাকেও নমস্কার। অষ্টগুণে আবৃত, গুণের অধীশ্বর, এবং গুণাতীত—পাশ থেকে পশুকে মুক্তিদাতা পতি শিবকে প্রণাম।
