देवादिसृष्टिकथनम् (वसिष्ठशोकः, पराशरजन्म, एकलिङ्गपूजा, रुद्रदर्शनम्)

श्रीदेव उवाच शक्ते पश्य सुतं बालम् आनन्दास्राविलेक्षणम् अदृश्यन्तीं च विप्रेन्द्र वसिष्ठं पितरं तव

śrīdeva uvāca śakte paśya sutaṃ bālam ānandāsrāvilekṣaṇam adṛśyantīṃ ca viprendra vasiṣṭhaṃ pitaraṃ tava

শ্রীদেব বললেন—হে শক্তি, তোমার পুত্র সেই শিশুকে দেখো, যার চোখ আনন্দাশ্রুতে ভরে উঠেছে। আর হে ব্রাহ্মণশ্রেষ্ঠ, দেখো—তোমার পিতা বশিষ্ঠ আর দৃশ্যমান নন।
