tau tu gīrvāṇa-ṛṣabhau dustarād dhari-lokataḥ hata-śriyau brahma-śāpād abhūtāṁ vigata-smayau

Translation

কিন্তু সেই দুই দ্বারপাল, দেবগণের শ্রেষ্ঠ, ব্রাহ্মণদের শাপে তাদের শ্রী-তেজ নষ্ট হয়ে, অহংকারহীন ও বিষণ্ণ হয়ে হরিলোক বৈকুণ্ঠ থেকে পতিত হল।
