श्रीशुक उवाच एवं सम्प्रार्थितो विप्र: स्वचिकीर्षितमेव तत् । चकार नामकरणं गूढो रहसि बालयो: ॥ ११ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca evaṁ samprārthito vipraḥ sva-cikīrṣitam eva tat cakāra nāma-karaṇaṁ gūḍho rahasi bālayoḥ
শ্রীশুকদেব বললেন—নন্দ মহারাজ এভাবে বিশেষভাবে অনুরোধ করায়, যে কাজ তিনি নিজেই করতে চেয়েছিলেন, সেই কাজই গোপনে নির্জনে থেকে সেই ব্রাহ্মণ গর্গমুনি কৃষ্ণ ও বলরামের নামকরণ সম্পন্ন করলেন।
