तं दृष्ट्वा जलदश्यामं पीतकौशेयवाससम् । प्रलम्बबाहुं ताम्राक्षं सुस्मितं रुचिराननम् ॥ २७ ॥ स्वलङ्कृतमुखाम्भोजं नीलवक्रालकालिभि: । कृष्णं मत्वा स्त्रियो ह्रीता निलिल्युस्तत्र तत्र ह ॥ २८ ॥
taṁ dṛṣṭvā jalada-śyāmaṁ pīta-kauśeya-vāsasam pralamba-bāhuṁ tāmrākṣaṁ su-smitaṁ rucirānanam
মেঘশ্যাম বর্ণ, পীত রেশমি বসন, দীর্ঘ বাহু, তাম্রাভ নয়ন ও সুমধুর হাসিতে শোভিত মনোহর মুখ দেখে, অলংকারে ভূষিত কমলমুখ ও ঘন নীল কুঞ্চিত কেশের কারণে নারীরা তাঁকে শ্রীকৃষ্ণ মনে করল; লজ্জায় তারা এদিক-ওদিক লুকিয়ে পড়ল।
