यज्ञपदीराक्षीरा स्वधाप्राणा महीलुका । वशा पर्जन्यपत्नी देवाँ अप्येति ब्रह्मणा

IAST Transliteration

yajñapadī́r ákṣīrāḥ svadhā́prāṇā mahī́lukā | vaśā́ párjanyapatnī́ devā́n ápyéti bráhmaṇā ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

With sacrifice for her footing, unmilkless, with svadhā for breath, of mighty fostering—Vaśā, the spouse of Parjanya, by brahman goes unto the gods.

Translation

যজ্ঞই তার পদচিহ্ন; সে অক্ষীরা (দুধহীন নয়), স্বধা-প্রাণা, মহাপোষণকারিণী। বশা—পর্জন্যের পত্নী—ব্রহ্ম (মন্ত্রবল) দ্বারা দেবদের নিকট গমন করে।
