तिस्रो जिह्वा वरुणस्यान्तर्दीद्यत्यासनि । तासां या मध्ये राजति सा वशा दुष्प्रतिग्रहा

IAST Transliteration

tísro jihvā́ váruṇasyā́ntardī́dyatyā ásani | tāsā́ṃ yā́ mádhye rā́jati sā́ vaśā́ dúṣpratigrahā́

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Three are the tongues of Varuṇa, shining inwardly; of them, that which in the midst is resplendent—she is the Vaśā, hard to be accepted.

Translation

বরুণের তিনটি জিহ্বা আছে, যা অন্তরে অন্তরে দীপ্তিমান। তাদের মধ্যে যে মধ্যস্থটি উজ্জ্বলভাবে রাজ করে—সেই বশা, যাকে গ্রহণ করা দুষ্কর।
