आस्नस्ते गाथा अभवन्नुष्णिहाभ्यो बलं वशे । पाजस्याऽज्जज्ञे यज्ञ स्तनेभ्यो रश्मयस्तव

IAST Transliteration

āsnás te gā́thā abhavann uṣṇíhābhyo bálaṃ vaśe | pā́jasyāj jajñe yájña stánébhyó raśmáyas táva ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

From thy mouth the songs came into being; from the Uṣṇihs, O Vasā, strength. From fiery vigor the sacrifice was born; from thy breasts, thy rays (of power) issued.

Translation

তোমার মুখ থেকে গাথা (গান) জন্ম নিল; উষ্ণিহ্ (Uṣṇih) ছন্দগুলি থেকে, হে বশা, বল প্রকাশ পেল। দীপ্ত পাজস্য (pājasya) থেকে যজ্ঞ জন্মাল; তোমার স্তন থেকে তোমার রশ্মি—শক্তির কিরণ—নিঃসৃত হল।
