शिवपूजाकथनम् (Śiva-pūjā-kathana) — The Exposition of Śiva Worship
পূর্ব সূর্যপূজা-প্রসঙ্গ সমাপ্তির পর এই অধ্যায়ে ঈশ্বর শিবপূজার সুসংবদ্ধ বিধান বলেন। আচমন, প্রণব-সংস্কৃত অর্ঘ্য, অস্ত্রাম্বু দ্বারা দ্বার-প্রোক্ষণ এবং প্রবেশরক্ষক ও সহদেবতার পূজা (গণ, সরস্বতী, লক্ষ্মী; নন্দী, গঙ্গা; মহাকাল, যমুনা) নির্দেশিত। সাধক গোড়ালি-আঘাতসহ নির্দিষ্ট দেহক্রিয়া করে, দান পা দিয়ে প্রবেশ করে, বাম দ্বারস্তম্ভে ভর দিয়ে ভিতরে যায়; উদুম্বর স্তম্ভে অস্ত্ররক্ষা স্থাপন করে কেন্দ্রে বাস্তু-অধিপতি ব্রহ্মার পূজা করে। পরে কলশাদি সামগ্রী-ব্যবস্থা, ভূতশুদ্ধি, প্রাণায়াম, গ্রন্থিভেদ, দ্বাদশান্ত ও বিন্দুধ্যান; মণ্ডল-কল্পনা ও বীজমন্ত্রে পঞ্চতত্ত্ব (পৃথিবী-জল-অগ্নি-বায়ু-আকাশ) শোধন এবং হৃদয়পীঠ স্থাপন। সাকলীকরণ, অস্ত্র-পরিধি, শক্তিজাল, মহামুদ্রার পর হৃদয়কমলে শিবের অন্তঃপূজা, অর্ঘ্য ও উপকরণ প্রস্তুতি, লিঙ্গশুদ্ধি বর্ণিত। পঞ্চবক্ত্র দশভুজ শিবধ্যান, মূল/শিরঃ/শিখা/কবচ/অস্ত্র ন্যাস, উপচারক্রম ও ধারাবাহিক দ্রব্যে অভিষেক; শেষে আরতি, ভোগ, জপাহুতি, স্তোত্র, প্রদক্ষিণা, অষ্টমূর্তি শিবকে অষ্টাঙ্গ প্রণাম এবং অগ্নি প্রভৃতি রূপে ধ্যানসহ অব্যাহত পূজার কথা বলা হয়েছে।
