bāṇa uvāca kṛtvā mahīmalpatarāṃ jagatpate svāyaṃbhuvādibhuvanāni vai ṣaṭ kathaṃ baliṃ prārthayase suvistṛtāṃ yāṃ prāgbhavān no vipulāmathākarot // VamP_65.37 vibho sahī yāvatīyaṃ tvayādya sṛṣṭacā sametā bhuvanāntarālaiḥ dattā ca tātena hi tāvatīyaṃ kiṃ vākchalenaiṣa nibadhyate 'dya

বাণ ক’লে— হে জগত্পতি! স্বায়ম্ভুৱ আদি ছয় ভুবন থাকিলেও তুমি পৃথিৱীক অতি ক্ষুদ্ৰ কৰিলা; তেন্তে যি দান তুমি পূৰ্বে নিজেই অপাৰ কৰিছিলা, সেই অতিবিস্তৃত দান ব’লিৰ পৰা কেনেকৈ প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিছা? হে বিভো! আজি তুমি যিমান সৃষ্টি কৰিছা—ভুবনান্তৰৰ অন্তৰালসহ—সিমানেই মোৰ পিতাই দান দিছে। তেন্তে আজি বাক্‌ছলৰে তেওঁক কিয় বন্ধা হৈছে?
