prá vo mahé mahí námo bharadhvam āṅgū́ṣyaṃ śavasānā́ya sā́ma | yéna naḥ pū́rve pitáraḥ padájñā́ arcánto aṅgíraso gā́ avindan

মহানজনাৰ উদ্দেশে মহৎ নমস্কাৰ আগবঢ়াওক; শক্তিমানজনাৰ বাবে স্তুতিময় সাম-গীত গাওক। এই গীতৰ দ্বাৰাই আমাৰ পূৰ্ব-পিতৃসকল—পদজ্ঞ, অৰ্থাৎ পথ-চিন্তা অঙ্গিৰস ঋষিসকল—স্তৱ কৰি গাইসমূহ বিচাৰি পাইছিল।
