तीर-वर्णनम् / Rama’s Lament at Pampa and the Approach to Rishyamuka

मम त्वयं विना वासः पुष्पमासे सुदुस्सहः।पश्य लक्ष्मण संरागः तिर्यग्योनिगतेष्वपि।यदेषा शिखिनी कामाद्भर्तारं रमतेऽन्तिके।।।।

paśya lakṣmaṇa saṃrāgaḥ tiryag-yoni-gateṣv api |

yad eṣā śikhinī kāmād bhartāraṃ ramate 'ntike ||

মোৰ বাবে পুষ্পমাহত তাইৰ অবিহনে বাস কৰা অতি দুৰ্সহ। চোৱা, লক্ষ্মণ—তিৰ্যক্‌যোনিত জন্মা জীৱসমূহতো ৰাগ আছে; এই শিখিনী কামবশে নিজৰ ভৰ্তাৰ ওচৰত ক্ৰীড়া কৰে।

'It is extremely unbearable for me to stay in the forest during this season of flowers (Spring). Look at the passion even among beasts and birds, O Lakshmana! And craving for love, the peahen sports near her mate.
