The Showing of Śiva’s Bow and Rama’s Breaking of It
मुनिगुप्तौ च काकुत्स्थौ कथयन्तु नृपाय वै।प्रीयमाणं तु राजानमानयन्तु सुशीघ्रगा:।।।।
muniguptau ca kākutsthau kathayantu nṛpāya vai | prīyamāṇaṃ tu rājānam ānayantu suśīghragāḥ ||
মুনিৰ ৰক্ষাৰ অধীনত থকা সেই দুজন কাকুৎস্থৰ কথাো তেওঁলোকে ৰজাক জনাওক; আৰু সংবাদত প্ৰসন্ন হোৱা ৰজাক অতি শীঘ্ৰে ইয়ালৈ আনিবলৈ দ্ৰুত দূতসকল যাত্ৰা কৰক।
The welfare of the descendant of Kausika (Rama and Lakshmana) under the protection of sage (Viswamitra) be reported to the king. The king who will be happy to hear thisbe brought here by swift-footed men".
Dharma of guardianship and trust: the princes are safeguarded under the muni’s care, and this protection is communicated as a mark of responsible conduct and reassurance.
Janaka instructs that Daśaratha be informed of Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa’s well-being under Viśvāmitra and be brought swiftly to Mithilā.
Janaka’s considerate diplomacy—he anticipates a father’s concern and sends comforting, truthful information to bring Daśaratha with a joyful heart.
