Unspecified (narratorial voice within Svargakhaṇḍa; broader dialogue context not provided in the input)

Concept: At cosmic dissolution Rudra withdraws the universe, yet the supreme principle is beyond transactional action and decay—imperishable across time.

Application: Remember impermanence of circumstances; anchor identity in the imperishable (ātman/Bhagavān) rather than roles and acquisitions.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Type: celestial_realm

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A vast ocean of dissolution spreads under a darkened sky, while Rudra stands serene, drawing the worlds inward like sparks returning to a single flame. Amid the cosmic collapse, a still, unaging radiance remains untouched—suggesting the imperishable reality beyond giving, receiving, or decay.","primary_figures":["Rudra/Maheśvara","dissolving worlds (symbolic)"],"setting":"Pralaya-ocean with floating remnants of mountains and cities fading into mist; a central axis of stillness around Rudra.","lighting_mood":"moonlit","color_palette":["storm gray","midnight blue","ash white","smoldering ember orange","silver"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Rudra as the cosmic withdrawer standing on a lotus over pralaya waters, with gold leaf aura contrasting dark blues; miniature worlds dissolving into his palm; ornate frame, gem-studded highlights, dramatic yet symmetrical composition.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: lyrical pralaya scene with swirling indigo waters and delicate mist; Rudra calm and centered, ash-white body, minimal ornaments; subtle silver moonlight and fine brushwork conveying dissolution.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines; Rudra in commanding stance over stylized waves; flat pigments with dominant blues and grays, ash-white body, strong red accents; temple mural geometry emphasizing cosmic withdrawal.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: symbolic pralaya mandala—concentric rings of fading lotuses and dissolving motifs; central Rudra figure with intricate borders; deep blues, silvers, and gold detailing, patterned waves and floral elements."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"dramatic","suggested_raga":"Bhairavi","pace":"slow-meditative","voice_tone":"reverent-soft","sound_elements":["deep drum (mridangam) pulse","distant thunder","conch shell","long silence"]}

FAQs

It presents Rudra as the agent of saṃhāra—at the end of a kalpa He withdraws the entire cosmos, indicating His function as the dissolver within cyclical time.

It emphasizes Rudra’s transcendence: He is not depicted as dependent on exchange (giving/receiving) or on learning/recitation for authority; His status is self-established rather than acquired.

The verse points to an imperishable principle beyond change; spiritually, it encourages seeking the eternal (the unperishing reality) rather than clinging to what is subject to dissolution.
