एष वृद्धाननाथांश्व पड्गूनन्धांश्व मानवान् । पुत्रवत् पालयामास प्रजा धर्मेण वै विभु:
eṣa vṛddhān anāthāṁś ca paṅgūn andhāṁś ca mānavān | putravat pālayāmāsa prajā dharmeṇa vai vibhuḥ ||
সেই মহাবলী ৰজাই নিজৰ প্ৰজাৰ মাজত থকা বৃদ্ধ, অনাথ, পংগু আৰু অন্ধ লোকসকলকো স্নেহেৰে ৰক্ষা কৰিছিল। ধৰ্ম অনুসৰি তেওঁ প্ৰজাক নিজৰ সন্তানৰ দৰে পালন-পোষণ কৰিছিল।
अर्जुन उवाच
