तुष्टिबबुद्धिर्भवित्री वा त्वयि दीर्घप्रवासिनि । त्वयि नः पार्थ सर्वेषां सुखदु:खे समाहिते,वीरवर! निश्चय ही आपके चले जानेके बाद आपके सभी भाई जागते समय आपहीके पराक्रमकी चर्चा बार-बार करते हुए अपना मन बहलायेंगे। पार्थ! दीर्घकालके लिये आपके प्रवासी हो जानेपर हमारा मन न तो भोगोंमें लगेगा और न धनमें ही। इस जीवनमें भी कोई रस नहीं रह जायगा। आपके बिना हम इन वस्तुओंसे संतोष नहीं पा सकेंगे। पार्थ! हम सबके सुख-दुःख, जीवन-मरण तथा राज्य-ऐश्वर्य आपपर ही निर्भर हैं। भरतकुलतिलक! कुन्तीकुमार! मैंने आपको विदा दी; आप कल्याणको प्राप्त हों
tuṣṭir babuddhir bhavitrī vā tvayi dīrghapravāsini | tvayi naḥ pārtha sarveṣāṁ sukhaduḥkhe samāhite ||
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে— হে পাৰ্থ! তুমি দীঘলীয়া প্ৰবাসলৈ গ’লে আমাৰ তৃপ্তি আৰু মনৰ স্থিৰতাও কেৱল তোমাতেই স্থিত হ’ব। আমাৰ সকলোৰে সুখ-দুখ তোমাতেই সংহত—সেয়া তোমাৰ ওপৰতে নিৰ্ভৰশীল। তোমাৰ অবিহনে ভোগত বা ধনত সত্য সন্তোষ নাথাকিব; জীৱনো ৰসহীন হৈ পৰিব। তুমিয়েই আমাৰ কল্যাণৰ আধাৰ।
