स सूतो भार्यया सार्थ विम्मयोत्फुल्ललोचन: । अड्कमारोप्य तं बालं भारया वचनमब्रवीत्,उसे देखकर पत्नीसहित सूतके नेत्रकमल आश्चर्य एवं प्रसन्नतासे खिल उठे। उसने बालकको गोदमें लेकर अपनी पत्नीसे कहा--
sa sūto bhāryayā sārthaṁ vismayotphullalocanaḥ | aṅkam āropya taṁ bālaṁ bhāryāyā vacanam abravīt ||
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে—সেই শিশুটিক দেখি পত্নীসহ সূতৰ পদ্মসদৃশ নয়ন বিস্ময় আৰু আনন্দে প্ৰস্ফুটিত হ’ল। সি বালকটোক কোলাত তুলি পত্নীক ক’লে।
