বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে—হে ৰাজন, তেওঁৰ পত্নী পৃথিৱীত ৰূপত অতুলনীয়া আছিল। সেই মহাভাগ্যৱতীৰ নাম ৰাধা; কিন্তু, হে ৰাজন, তেওঁ পুত্ৰ লাভ নকৰিলে।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights that outward excellence and good fortune (beauty, high status) do not guarantee desired outcomes such as progeny; it subtly points to the limits of human control and the complex workings of fate, merit, and circumstance in epic narrative.
Vaiśampāyana describes a man’s wife to the King: she is extraordinarily beautiful, named Rādhā, and despite her auspiciousness she remains without a son—setting up a background detail relevant to lineage and subsequent events.
