अस्तौषं तमहं देवं सत्येन वचसा विभुम् | पज्च वै तेन मे दत्ता वरा: शूणुत तान् मम,उस समय मैंने सत्यवचनोंद्वारा उन भगवान् यमकी स्तुति की। तब उन्होंने मुझे पाँच वर दिये। उन वरोंको आप मुझसे सुनिये
astauṣaṃ tam ahaṃ devaṃ satyena vacasā vibhum | pañca vai tena me dattā varāḥ śṛṇuta tān mama ||
তেতিয়া মই সত্যবচনে সেই মহাবিভু দেৱ যমক স্তৱ কৰিলোঁ। প্ৰসন্ন হৈ তেওঁ মোক পাঁচটা বৰ দিলে। এতিয়া সেই বৰবোৰ মোৰ মুখে শুনক।
