प्रलम्बबाहूरुकरजड्घान्तरविलम्बिनाम् | ऋक्षाणां धूम्रवर्णानां तिस््र: कोट्यो व्यवस्थिता:
pralambabāhūrukarajaḍghāntaravilambinām | ṛkṣāṇāṃ dhūmravarṇānāṃ tisraḥ koṭyo vyavasthitāḥ
সেখানে ধোঁৱা-ধূসৰ বৰ্ণৰ ঋক্ষসকলৰ তিন কোটি সৈন্য সজ্জিত হৈ আছিল—যিসকলৰ দীঘল বাহু বৃহৎ ঊৰু আৰু দৃঢ় জঙ্ঘাৰ মাজত ঝুলিছিল।
मार्कण्डेय उवाच

Mārkaṇḍeya is describing a vast, organized host of bears—smoke-grey in color—emphasizing their formidable physique and the immense number (three crores) standing arrayed.
