Jatāyu’s Resistance, Sītā’s Traces, Kabandha’s Release, and the Path to Sugrīva (Āraṇyaka-parva 263)

tadā tvaṃ tatra gacchethā yady anugrāhātā mayi |

Educational Q&A

The verse underscores dharma through etiquette and timing: one should approach others in a manner that respects their completed obligations—especially hospitality and feeding—so that requests or encounters do not disrupt rightful duties.

Vaiśampāyana conveys an instruction/request: the addressee is asked to go to a certain place at an appropriate moment—specifically when Draupadī has finished serving the Brāhmaṇas and the five husbands and is resting—indicating a planned, tactful approach.
