মাৰ্কণ্ডেয় ক’লে—হে মহাৰাজ, সেয়া কেৱল মুহূৰ্ততে সকলো দেৱতাক মোহগ্ৰস্ত কৰা ঘটনাই নাছিল; নক্ষত্ৰখচিত আকাশ নিজেই জ্বলি উঠিল। হে ভূ-পতি, সেই আকস্মিক ভয়ংকৰ উথাল-পাথালত সমগ্ৰ জগত যেন স্তম্ভিত আৰু বিমূঢ় হৈ পৰিল।
