कि करोमीति ता: स्कन्दं सम्प्राप्ता:समभाषयन्‌ | तप नामक अग्निने जिन कन्याओंको जन्म दिया, वे सब स्कन्दके पास आयीं और पूछने लगीं--“हम कया करें?”

Transliteration

kiṃ karomīti tāḥ skandaṃ samprāptāḥ samabhāṣayan |

Translation

মাৰ্কণ্ডেয় ক’লে—‘আমি কি কৰিম?’ বুলি সুধি, ‘তপ’ নামৰ অগ্নিৰ পৰা জন্ম লোৱা সেই সকলো কন্যা স্কন্দৰ সন্নিধিলৈ আহি তাক সম্বোধন কৰিলে।
