एवं दश दिश: सर्वास्तिर्यगूर्ध्य च भारत । नादयामासुरसुरास्ते चापि निहता मया,भारत! इस तरह वे असुर इधर-उधर ऊपर-नीचे दसों दिशाओंमें कोलाहल करते और मेरे हाथसे मारे जाते थे
evaṁ daśa diśaḥ sarvāstiryagūrdhya ca bhārata | nādayāmāsur asurās te cāpi nihatā mayā, bhārata ||
হে ভাৰত! এইদৰে সেই অসুৰসকলে ইফালে-সিফালে, ওপৰ-তল—দশো দিশত কোলাহল তুলিছিল; তথাপি তেওঁলোক মোৰ হাতেই নিহত হ’ল।
