सो<हं पर्वतवर्षेण वध्यमान: पुन: पुनः । वल्मीक इव राजेन्द्र पर्वतोपचितो5भवम्,राजेन्द्र! शिलाखण्डोंकी उस निरन्तर वृष्टिसे बार-बार आहत होकर मैं पर्वतोंसे आच्छादित बाँबी-सा प्रतीत होने लगा
so ’haṃ parvatavarṣeṇa vadhyamānaḥ punaḥ punaḥ | valmīka iva rājendra parvatopacito ’bhavam ||
ৰাজেন্দ্ৰ! শিলাখণ্ডৰ সেই নিৰন্তৰ বৰষুণত বাৰে বাৰে আঘাত পাই মই যেন পৰ্বতৰ ঢিপৰ তলত চাপা পৰা পিঁপৰা-ঢিবিৰ দৰে দেখা দিলোঁ।
