Dharma-vyādha on Parental Worship
Pitṛ-mātṛ-śuśrūṣā as Paramadaivata
स्वपतस्तस्य देवस्य पद्म सूर्यसमप्रभम् । नाभ्यां विनि:सृतं दिव्यं तत्रोत्पन्न: पितामह:
svapataḥ tasya devasya padma-sūrya-samaprabham | nābhyāṃ viniḥsṛtaṃ divyaṃ tatrotpannaḥ pitāmahaḥ ||
সেই দেৱতা নিদ্ৰিত থাকোঁতেই তেওঁৰ নাভিৰ পৰা সূৰ্যসম দীপ্ত এক দিব্য পদ্ম নিৰ্গত হ’ল; আৰু সেই পদ্মৰ ওপৰতে পিতামহ ব্ৰহ্মাৰ উৎপত্তি হ’ল।
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
Creation is portrayed as arising from a divine, orderly source—symbolized by the sun-bright lotus—emphasizing that the cosmos is grounded in sacred law and purposeful emergence rather than chaos or mere force.
Mārkaṇḍeya describes a cosmogonic scene: while the deity sleeps, a radiant lotus emerges from his navel, and upon it Brahmā (the Grandsire) is born, initiating the process of creation.
