अध्याय १९० — वामदेव-वाम्य-वृत्तान्तः
The Vāmadeva Horses Episode and the Ethics of Promise
आखयातस्ते मया चात्मा दुर्जेयो हि सुरासुरै:,ब्रह्मर्ष! इस प्रकार मैंने तुम्हें अपने स्वरूपका उपदेश किया है, जिसका जानना देवता और असुरोंके लिये भी कठिन है। जबतक महातपस्वी भगवान् ब्रह्माका जागरण न हो, तबतक तुम श्रद्धा और विश्वासपूर्वक सुखसे विचरते रहो
ākhyātaste mayā cātmā durjeyo hi surāsuraiḥ, brahmarṣe |
দেৱে ক’লে—মই তোমাক মোৰ নিজ সঁচা স্বৰূপ ঘোষণা কৰিলোঁ; সেয়া দেৱ-অসুৰৰ বাবেও বুজিবলৈ দুষ্কৰ। সুতৰাং, হে ব্ৰহ্মৰ্ষি, মহাতপস্বী ভগৱান ব্ৰহ্মা জাগ্ৰত নোহোৱালৈকে, শ্ৰদ্ধা আৰু বিশ্বাসেৰে স্থিত হৈ সুখে বিচৰণ কৰা।
