Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma
ततो<5हं सहसा राजन् वायुवेगेन नि:सृतः । महात्मनो मुखात् तस्य विवृतात् पुरुषोत्तम,पुरुषरत्न युधिष्ठिर! उनकी शरण लेते ही मैं वायुके समान वेगसे उक्त महात्मा बालकके खुले हुए मुखकी राहसे सहसा बाहर निकल आया
tato 'haṃ sahasā rājan vāyuvegena niḥsṛtaḥ | mahātmano mukhāt tasya vivṛtāt puruṣottama, puruṣaratna yudhiṣṭhira |
তাৰপিছত, হে ৰাজন, মই হঠাৎ বায়ুৰ বেগে সেই মহাত্মাৰ খোলা মুখপথেৰে বাহিৰলৈ ওলাই আহিলোঁ। পুৰুষৰত্ন যুধিষ্ঠিৰ! তেওঁৰ শৰণ লোৱাৰ লগে লগে মই এইদৰে দ্ৰুতগতিত বাহিৰলৈ নিষ্ক্ৰান্ত হ’লোঁ।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores the protective power of taking refuge (śaraṇāgati) in a great being: when one seeks shelter in the truly exalted, deliverance can come swiftly and unexpectedly, as if carried by the wind.
Vaiśampāyana narrates to King Yudhiṣṭhira that he suddenly emerged—like a gust of wind—through the open mouth of a great-souled being (described as a child in the accompanying prose), indicating a miraculous escape or transition.
