वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse primarily paints a scene of opulence and sensory charm; ethically, such imagery often functions in the Mahābhārata as a reminder that dazzling pleasures can captivate the mind and become obstacles to steadiness, restraint, and dharmic clarity.
Vaiśaṃpāyana describes a splendid mansion: dancers perform all around, and wind-tossed banners decorate the building, emphasizing a festive, alluring atmosphere.
