आरुज्यारुज्य तौ वृक्षानन्योन्यमभिजषघ्नतु: । जीमूताविव गर्जन्तौ निनदन्तौ महाबलौ,दोनोंका बल महान् था। वे गर्जते हुए दो मेघोंकी भाँति सिंहनाद करके वृक्षोंकों तोड़- तोड़कर परस्पर चोट करते थे
ārūjyārūjya tau vṛkṣān anyonyam abhijaṣaghnatuḥ | jīmūtāv iva garjantau ninadantau mahābalau ||
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে—মহাবলৱান সেই দুয়োজনে গছ ভাঙি ভাঙি লৈ তাৰে পৰস্পৰক প্ৰহাৰ কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে। দুটা গর্জন কৰা মেঘৰ দৰে গর্জি-নাদ কৰি তেওঁলোকে অৰণ্যক যুদ্ধঘোষেৰে মুখৰ কৰি তুলিলে।
