३ ।। अतीवरम्यां सुजलां जातां पर्वतसानुषु । विचित्रभूतां लोकस्य शुभामद्भुतदर्शनाम्,वह सरोवर अत्यन्त रमणीय, सुन्दर जलसे परिपूर्ण, पर्वतीय शिखरोंके झरनोंसे उत्पन्न, देखनेमें विचित्र, लोकके लिये मंगलकारक तथा अद्भुत दृश्यसे सुशोभित था
atīvaramyāṁ sujalāṁ jātāṁ parvatasānuṣu | vicitrabhūtāṁ lokasya śubhām adbhutadarśanām ||
সেই সৰোবৰ আছিল অতিশয় মনোৰম, নির্মল আৰু প্ৰচুৰ জলেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ, আৰু পৰ্বতৰ ঢালত উদ্ভূত। দেখিবলৈ সেয়া বিচিত্ৰ, লোকৰ বাবে মঙ্গলকাৰী, আৰু অদ্ভুত দৰ্শনে শোভিত আছিল।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how encounters with pure, life-giving nature can be śubha (auspicious) and elevating—suggesting that beauty, purity, and wonder in the world support inner clarity and благотворное (beneficial) disposition, which aligns with dharmic living.
Vaiśampāyana describes a remarkable lake encountered in the forest setting: it is abundant in clear water, formed on mountain slopes, visually wondrous, and presented as an auspicious, extraordinary sight.
