The verse highlights reverence for sacred spaces: divine realms are approached through disciplined journeying, and their ‘marks’ (footprints/traces) invite humility and ethical self-restraint rather than mere curiosity.
A guide (Logaśa) addresses a Kaunteya, announcing that he is about to see a divine sporting-ground of the gods and noting that he has already crossed the mountain called Kālaśaila, signaling progress into a more sacred or extraordinary region.
