Pātāla-varṇana (Nārada’s Description of the Netherworld) / पातालवर्णनम्
बहून्यद्धुतरूपाणि द्रष्टव्यानीह मातले | तव कार्यावरो धस्तु तस्माद् गच्छाव मा चिरम्
bahūny adbhutarūpāṇi draṣṭavyānīha mātale | tava kāryāvarodhas tu tasmād gacchāva mā ciram, mātale ||
কণ্ব ক’লে—হে মাতলি! এই বৰুণলোকে চাবলগীয়া বহু আশ্চৰ্য দৃশ্য আছে। কিন্তু সকলো চাবলৈ দেৰি হ’লে তোমাৰ কৰ্তব্যত বাধা পৰিব; সেয়ে, হে মাতলি, বিলম্ব নকৰি ওলাই—নাগলোকলৈ আগবাঢ়োঁ।
