कण्वोपदेशः—नश्वरबलविवेकः तथा मातलिगुणकेश्याः आख्यानारम्भः

कदर्थीकृत्य स मुनिरिषीकाभि: समार्पयत्‌ | उनके भयंकर बाण शत्रुके शरीरको छिल्न-भिन्न कर देनेवाले थे; परंतु मुनिने उन बाणोंका प्रहार करनेवाले दम्भोद्भधवकी कोई परवा न करके सींकोंसे ही उनको बींध डाला

kadarthīkṛtya sa munir ṛṣīkābhiḥ samārpayat |

পৰশুৰামে ক’লে—তাক সম্পূৰ্ণৰূপে অপমানিত কৰি সেই মুনিয়ে তাক ঋষিকাসকলৰ হাতত সঁপে দিলে। শত্রুৰ ভয়ংকৰ বাণ দেহ ছিন্নভিন্ন কৰিবলৈ সক্ষম আছিল; কিন্তু মুনিয়ে আক্রমণকাৰী দম্ভোদ্ভৱৰ দৰ্পক অগ্ৰাহ্য কৰি, কেৱল নল-খাগড়াৰ কাঁটাৰে তাক বিদ্ধ কৰিলে।
