धर्म्यमर्थ्य च धर्मात्मा ध्रुवं वक्ता जनार्दन: । तस्मिन्‌ वाच्या: प्रिया वाचो भवता बान्धवै: सह,“धर्मात्मा भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण जो कुछ कहेंगे, वह निश्चय ही धर्म और अर्थके अनुकूल होगा। अतः तुम्हें अपने बन्धु-बान्धवोंके साथ उनसे प्रिय वचन ही बोलना चाहिये”

dharmyam arthyaṁ ca dharmātmā dhruvaṁ vaktā janārdanaḥ | tasmin vācyāḥ priyā vāco bhavatā bāndhavaiḥ saha ||

বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে—ধৰ্মাত্মা জনাৰ্দনে যি কয়, সেয়া নিশ্চয়েই ধৰ্ম আৰু অৰ্থ—দুয়োটাৰে অনুকূল হ’ব। সেয়ে তুমি তোমাৰ স্বজন-বান্ধৱৰ সৈতে তেওঁক প্ৰিয় আৰু আদৰভৰা বাক্যেই সম্বোধন কৰা উচিত।
