यत्‌ त्वमेवंगते ब्रूया: पश्चिमे वयसि स्थित: । शास्त्राद्‌ वा सुप्रतर्काद्‌ वा सुस्थिर: स्थविरो हासि

Transliteration

yat tvam evaṃgate brūyāḥ paścime vayasi sthitaḥ | śāstrād vā supratarkād vā susthiraḥ sthaviro hāsi ||

Translation

আপুনি এতিয়া জীৱনৰ শেষ পৰ্যায়—বাৰ্ধক্য—ত অৱস্থিত। এই অৱস্থাত আপুনি যি কয়, সেয়া শাস্ত্ৰ অনুসাৰেও আৰু স্পষ্ট লোক-তৰ্ক অনুসাৰেও যথাযথ। আপোনাৰ বিচাৰৰ এই স্থিৰতাই আপোনাক প্ৰকৃত অৰ্থত ‘স্থবিৰ’—সত্যিকাৰৰ জ্যেষ্ঠ—কৰে।
