Sanatsujāta on Vedic Learning, Truth (Satya), and the Discipline of Dama–Tyāga–Apramāda
शिष्यवृत्तिक्रमेणैव विद्यामाप्रोति यः शुचि: । ब्रह्मचर्यव्रतस्यास्य प्रथम: पाद उच्यते
śiṣyavṛttikrameṇaiva vidyām āpnoti yaḥ śuciḥ | brahmacaryavratasya asya prathamaḥ pāda ucyate ||
যি শুচি-চিত্ত ব্যক্তি শিষ্যবৃত্তিৰ ক্ৰম অনুসৰি আচৰণ কৰি বিদ্যা লাভ কৰে—সেয়াই এই ব্ৰহ্মচৰ্য-ব্ৰতৰ প্ৰথম পাদ বুলি কোৱা হয়।
